Marcus Rhodes
Professor Marcus J. Rhodes is the Founder and Artistic Director for the Southside Arts Complex, Inc. 501 (c) 3 organization. The SAC, Inc has established youth programs, community events, performing, and fine art concerts, exhibits, and presentations. Mr. Rhodes has taught K-12 in the Monroe, LA, and the Dallas, TX, Independent School Districts, and has eighteen years of experience as an assistant professor of Vocal/Choral Music at Grambling State University, and Florida A&M University. Professor Rhodes has also served as director of music for a breadth of denominational, and non-denominational churches throughout the southern region of the US, and performed with various symphonic and operatic companies throughout the U.S., and overseas including the Caribbean, and Japan.
